John A. Thywissen#

John Thywissen is doctoral student and graduate research assistant (GRA) and teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin.

John is working with Prof. W. R. Cook and Prof. J. Misra, investigating "computational orchestration" — specifically the model of programming languages and distributed computing embodied by Orc. He's a member of the Orc research group, and an engineer of the Orc implementation.
