! Eclipse IMP
OrcEclipse uses Eclipse IMP, a language plug-in development plug-in. (Yes, a plug-in for plug-ins.) To install IMP:
# In Eclipse, Install New Software from this site: http://download.eclipse.org/technology/imp/updates/
(This site is already in the sites list, just enable it.)
# Pick all the features
# Fire away... run the install. After the install, you should see an IMP perspective, IMP "new project" categories, etc.
# Possible install bug: Execute mode bit not set on the LPG binaries. If needed, execute the following (Mac OS X version -- similar on other platforms): (The {{{*}}} will vary on each installation.)
{{{
cd /Applications/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/*/1/.cp/lpgexe
chmod ugo+x lpg-macosx_x86
}}}
IMP documentation:
* Mostly the "documentation" is reading the source code.
* Old Users's Guide: http://www.eclipse.org/imp/documents/IMP_Users_Guide.pdf
* ~EclipseCon 2009 presentation: http://www.eclipse.org/imp/documents/IMP-Tutorial-EclipseCon-2009.pdf
